Ramzi Hammad, a swiss-palestinian drummer/percussionist/composer from Zurich Switzerland, merges influences from arabic music, Latin, Hip-Hop and the Londoner jazz scene in his music to create a vibrant, urban and rhythmic soundworld completely his own.

Wanting to showcase the cultural melting pot of Zurich, he started his Project with his Band the RH-Collective in 2022 culminating in his debut EP ‘Melting Pot’ released at the M4Music New Jazz showcase in March 2025. Since then he’s been nominated for the ZKB Jazzpreis and elected as Artist for the Montreux Jazz Artist Foundation as well as being featured on national Radio. This November he’s gonna release his next single ‘Fayruz’ an hommage to the Lebanese singer.
