Ramzi Hammad, a swiss-palestinian drummer/percussionist/composer from Zurich Switzerland, merges influences from arabic music, Latin, Hip-Hop and the Londoner jazz scene in his music to create a vibrant, urban and rhythmic soundworld completely his own.

‘Making waves isn’t easy in a landlocked nation, but Hammad and his Collective have been doing just that and then some, nominated for the Moods ZKB Jazz Prize and winning the m4music New Jazz Showcase, they’re becoming known and respected for their electric energy and tight sound.’

Wanting to showcase the cultural melting pot of Zurich, he started his Project with his Band the ‘Ramzi Hammad Collective’ in 2022 culminating in his debut EP ‘Melting Pot’ released in March 2025. They sold out their international debut show at the prestigious Southbancs centre in London and have been featured on international radio.
